Spring Pitching Clinics
 

 

Objective:  To learn the fundamentals of pitching, develop more pitchers, and prepare pitchers for the start of the season. 

Staff:  Past and present Grand Forks Youth Baseball Association coaches 

Dates:  Tuesdays from March 19, 2019 until April 16, 2019 (5 sessions) 

Session Options: 
Session 1 - 9/10 yr olds - 5:15pm-6:15pm *Full*
Session 2 - 11/12 yr olds - 6:15pm-7:15pm *Full*

Cost:  $25 

Location: Gambucci Arena 

Kids per Session: Each session will be limited to 16 pitchers

2019 Early Bird registration will end March 5th.  Registration fees will increase after the early bird registration period ends.  Registration will close March 18th. If someone wishes to register after March 18th because of a special circumstance, they should contact gfyouthbaseball@gmail.com

Welcome to the 2019 Grand Forks Youth Baseball Association Season
 
As we look forward to the 2019 baseball season, Grand Forks Youth Baseball Association (GFYBA) would like to share our vision with you.  We want GFYBA to be part of your child’s foundation for success. Our goal is to develop athletes that become leaders in our community, now and in the future.  We are sharing this now with hopes that you will embrace this vision and help this organization to succeed. In order to fulfill this vision, we will be changing a few things for the upcoming season.  GFYBA has a recruited a great leadership staff for the 2019 season that is dedicated to a fair, fun, and positive youth baseball program.
 
Vision:  Inspire athletes through remarkable experiences and elevate every players potential on the field and in life.

  2. Select coaches that will develop a positive impact on our players
  3. Be more than Baseball.  Be a positive role model that looks forward to helping young athletes become successful adults in all walks of life.

  2. More opportunities for athletes to learn the proper way to play baseball
  3. Opportunities for athletes to participate on fun, competitive teams

2019 League Information
 
As we enter the 2019 season, you want to know what to expect and how each league will operate.  After many discussions about what is the right path forward for Grand Forks Youth Baseball, here is how each league will operate this upcoming season (click on each):

2019 Travel Team Information

Travel teams will be separate teams that practice and play games 1-2 additional days per week (3-4 total days per week).  Travel teams are for those kids that want to develop and grow their baseball skills at a higher competitive level. This link provides a lot of information regarding travel teams.  There will be tryouts for travel team. We hope to have 2 teams per age group, which means most players interested in participating in a travel team will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.
